"Downcity Outfitters is a specialized boutique in Providence, Rhode Island that sells premium outdoors clothing and gear. Inspired by open-air and camping environments, the brand explores freedom and space in a modern, simple way with its freehand logotype. The custom traced typography represents two things: first, the brand’s honest intentions in providing only products of high-quality craftsmanship. And second, it has a touch of nostalgia that relates to the old-school specialty shops of typical American small towns at the turn of the century, a nod to simpler, more carefree times."
